This listing is for 3 Rooted Amity Raspberry Plants in 2 inch peat pots. Amity Raspberry is an excellent variety for raspberry lovers due to its delightful sweet flavor! Fruit is high in antioxidants.
Raspberries prefer a location in full sun with well-drained, loamy soil. When planting, incorporate a generous amount of compost into the native soil as the raspberries will spread by rhizomes and appreciate the encouragement. During the growing season, 1 inch of water per week is recommended, but we find them to still be productive with low water applications. In drought, they still produce berries, but they are smaller. Resistant to some cane diseases but susceptible to cane Botrytis. Resistant to late yellow rust.
Plants get 4-6 feet high and will need some support to keep berry canes from drooping to the ground. Plant 3-4 feet apart. Perennial in USDA zones 3-9.
